RACING STATISTICS OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL MEETING EVER HELD AT HOT SPRINGS The Oaklawn Park meeting conducted at Hot Springs Ark under the auspices of the Uusiness Mens League began March IK and came to an end April IS embracing u period of thirty racing days during which time ISO races were decided and 114000 distributed among the winning owners the daily average distribution amounting to 3800 In every way the meeting was successful in fact the most successful ever held at Oaklawn Park In addition it attracted more attention throughout the country than any other meeting held so early in the year has since the days of winter racing in California This was primarily due to the presence of many highclass racers such as Exterminator the 1918 Kentucky Derby winner and Eternal the likely favorite for this years running of Kentuckys most famous race Hotli were seen in action during the meeting and Eternal electrified the visitors on several occasions by wonderful displays of speed in several workouts The attendance throughout the meeting was remarkable and maintained a high average right up to the closing day The racing Avas clean wholesome and in ¬ teresting Mose Goldblatt hail the distinction of heading the list of winning owners his horses accounting for 1411 while W C Weant stable was second with 3400 to his credit The following are the owners with winnings of 450 or more
