TRAINING ACTIVITY AT WOODBINE PARK TORONTO Out April 21 Great activity is prevalent around the AVoodlilue Park track despite the fact that nothing definite regarding racing is yet assured llowever tlie best signs of tho times are the many stables which are now quartered at tho East End track and more is belngjadded practically every day 7 7The The Hcardmorc and Crew stables which have Kings Plate eligibles are now at the AV odbine track while the Thorncliffe Giddings and Dyments strings are expected to arrive this week Mike Gor ¬ man of Ottawa lias two at the track in River mead which has developed into a finelooking animal and a promising fencer an 1 the twoyear old Rave On by Stanhope II d m of which is that good longdistance mare Calm ny Joseph nyJoseph Doane is training the 1 ardmore siring which Includes Ladder of Light an Carry On the two Plate eligibles He has also Altar Fire Red Admiral and Confidence Jockey Scott who rode at New Orleans last winter is with trainer Doanc DoancCharles Charles Crew has two Plate candidates in C A Crew by Nealon Amberlte and Jim Petrie by AViro In Cannie Maid MaidAVlshaway AVlshaway and J AV Hunley belonging to J C Fletcher are recent arrivals also the Meagher stable which consists of the veteran Rockville which raced for several years for J E Seagram Mandarin another Seagram castoff and a Plate winner is quartered at the track although he took a joy ride uptown the other morning when he threw his boy aud raced out of the truck
