RUMOR SAYS HAVANA DEAL NOT CLOSED CLOSEDNEW NEW YORK N Y July ll Rumors are being freely circulated that the deal between H D Brown and George W Loft and his associates for the purchase of the Havana track has not yet been consummated When Mr Loft was spoken to on the subject today he said that the transfer had not yet been made and that Mr Brown was expected in New York next week Mr Loft also intimated there was some sort of hitch in the arrangements which would have to be well defined before the sale was completed completedAnother Another rumor gaining in volume in connection with Havana racing infers that the franchise held by Charles Henschall is likely to be utilized for next winters racing Friends of Mr Henschall assert that he is planning to promote a new race course and amusement ground close to the city limits Some such scheme was started about three years ago under this franchise but labor and war conditions Interfered and it was abandoned but is now being revived
