SAN FORDS ENGLISH BREEDING STUD John Sanford maintains a breeding stiid in Eng ¬ land vith Nassovian at tlie head and a number of costly and highbred mares a his mates Foallngs this year have been the follovying to Nassovian March 11 Phllistia a bay colt 15 Louli a bay filly 18 Signorinella a brown colt since dead 27 Hemlock a bay filly April 15 Kildonan a bay colt May 3 Scammpny a bay colt These have again all been mated with Nassoviau together with Kaffir Fowl while Homage which dropped a bay colt by Llangibby on May 1 has been mated to Lemberg Fleur dOrange which had a chestnut filly by Cylgad on May 20 has gone to Tracery and Orange Lady lias visited Sunstar Presumably these youngsters are intended for racing in Eng ¬ land but it ia to be hoped that some part of the produce will from time to time be brought across the Atlantic to take part in our own racing
