FALL MEETING ANNOUNCED FOR RENO The Reno Jockey Club announces nineteen or more days of racing at Reno Nevada commencing Sep ¬ tember 13 W AV Finn the western racing pro ¬ moter who has been general manager of the Chey ¬ enne meeting will officiate in the same capacity at Reno He will give a 1000 Derby for three yearolds together wth a 500 Juvenile Champion ¬ ship Stakes for twoyearolds The initial day of racing will witness the miming of the Opening Handicap which will have a value of 400 and throughout the meeting a liberal program of over ¬ night handicaps will be offered to the horsemen horsemenPractically Practically every thoroughbred at Cheyenne will move to Reno and a special train of ten Arms cars witli two sleepers and a diner will carry racing men to Reno This train will leave Cheyenne September 3 3The The Reno Jockey Club expects to attract many horses from the different fairs such as Spokane Helena and Sacramento as these short meetings will be over by the time Reno opens opensC C B Irwln the AVyoming horseman with twenty five head at Frontier Park will ship his entire stable Among the good ones that will go is the unbeaten colt Yukon which Irwin recently pur ¬ chased at private sale from AV S Heath acting for the Nevada Stock Farm Jockey Martinez who jumped into prominence at Frontier Park when he rode five of his employers horses to win in one day when he only had five mounts will do the Ktahle riding ridingThe The Reno Jockey Club announces that it stands to race and a cordial welcome is extended to all horsemen that are in good stalling stallingAV AV AV Finn is also making an effort to obtain a sanction from the Monterey Jockey Club to hold a meeting at Monterey CaL following the Reno venture
