RACING AT THE C030URG HORSE SHOW TORONTO, Out., August 23. Three races were ruii at the Cobourg Horse Show yesterday. The feature, the Arigton Gold Cup, over the two and one-half miles steeplccheso course, was productive of an interesting struggle throughout. In a driving finish Dandy just got up to beat Jim O. by a head, with Ammunition a length away. The latter forced the running for three parts of the race, only to be headed by Jim O., but Dandy proved the gamest in the final struggle. Jockey Little, who had the mount on Dandy, also piloted the winner of the opening dasli on the flat in Gold Galore, which marked the second success of the week for the Seagram castoff. The winner took command in the last quarter and won by two lengths from Red Admiral, with Rosite a distant third. Mrs. Livingstons King lost his rider after leading the. first quarter. The other steeplechase, at one and one-half miles, went to Single Time, ridden by S. Macfarlane. He won easily by two lengths from Gold Trap, which finished resolutely and easily disposed of Pardon. Greek Patriot fell at the third jump with jockey Little, but the latter escaped with a shaking up.
