The autumn season of racing over tlie Long Island trucks -will le inaugurated at Belmont Park on Labor ilay, Monday, .September 1. The "Westchester Racing Association has arranged the most pretentious program it has offered in the fall since the sport was resumed in 1013, after an interval of two years when no racing was held in this .state. The famous Futurity, now a permanent fixture at the "Westchester course through the courtesy of the Coney Island Jockey Club, is the outstanding feature of an attractive array of stakes of good monetary value. Tin; gross value of the Futurity this year will exceed 0,000, while the Lawrence Realization will olice again resume its old place among the richest fixtures of the year. Tlie gross value of that noted long-distance event will be approximately 5,000. In addition to these historical and valuable features, the "Westchester liacing Association has increased the values of the other stake races, besides making the minimum overnight purse values , with u liberal sprinkling of allowance and handicap races of from 00 to ,500 added. For opening day, Monday, September 1, Labor day, three stake races are provided, the Belmont Park Autumn Handicap with ,500 added, for three-year-olds and over at a mile and an eighth; the Tomboy Handicap with ,500 added, for two-year-old fillies at five and a half furlongs straight, and the Broadhollow Steeplechase Handicap with ,200 added, for three-year-olds and over at about two miles. In the ISelmont Park Autumn Handicap a small but select field of the best handicap horses in the country is expected to furnish the best contest of the day for the thousands of admiring metropolitan devotees of racing who are anxiously awaiting the return of their favorite sport after a months interval while king horse held court at Americas famous racing center, Saratoga Springs. FUTURITY TO BE RUN SEPTEMBER 13. Tlie Lawrence Realization will be run September 0, the first Saturday of the meeting, while tlie Futurity and the newly established Jockey Club stakes are reserved for Saturday, September 13, the closing day of the meeting. The list of the various stakes and the order of their running is as follows: Monday, September 1 Uroadhollow Steeplechase Handicap, throe-year-olds and over, about two miles; Tomboy, for fillies two years old, five and a half furlongs straight, and Itelmont Park Autumn Handicap, three-.year-olds and over, one and an eighth miles. Tuesday, September 2 Jerome Handicap, three-year-olds; one mile. Wednesday, September 3 Mineola Selling Stakes, two-year-olds; three-quarters straight. Thursday, September 4 Autumn Ilighweight Handicap, for all ages; three-quarters straight. Friday, September 5 Great Neck Handicap, three-year-olds and over; one mile and a quarter. Saturday, September 0 Champagne, two-year-olds, seven-eighths straight; Lawrence Realization, three-year-olds, one and five-eighths miles. Mondiiy, September 8 Corinthian Steeplechase, three-year-olds arid"over; about two and a half miles. Tuesday, September 9 Manhattan Handicap, all ages; one mile. Wednesday, September 10 Nursery Handicap, two-yonr-olds; three-quarters straight. Thursday, September 11 Nassau Selling Stakes, three-year-olds, and over; one mile. Friday, September 12 Cedarhurst Handicap, three-year-olds and over; one and one-sixteenth miles. Saturday, September 13 Brook Cup Steeplechase, four-year-olds and over, about three miles; Futurity, two-year-olds, three-quarters straight; Jockey Club Stakes, three-year-olds and over, one and a half miles.
