BIG STEEPLECHASE FEATURE SATURDAY NEW YORK, X. Y., August 2S. The United limits Double Event Steeplechase, which is to be the feature race over brush and timber next Saturday at the Belmont Park Terminal meeting, has all the earmarks df being "the years premier race through the field. Over the three-mile route, the distance is one which will tax to the limit the speed and stamina of the stars which have been nominated, with the event likely to give an insight oil the real champion of the year. Those who- have subscribed 500 each for the privilege of nominating a starter include some of the best known sportsmen in the country,- these being W. R. Coe, F. Ambrose Clark, Grecntree Stable Mrs. Payne Whitney, J. E. GriffUh, Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords, Herbert L. Pratt, Mrs. W. A. Prime and Joseph E. Widener.
