WINS 300-MILE CAVALRY MOUNT TEST AVER, Mass., October 20. Rumla, a ten-year-old bay Arab mare, ridden by A. AV. Harris, a Chicago banker, was announced tonight as the winner of the 300-mile cavalry mount road test from Fort Ethan Allen, Vt to Camp Devans. Ramla f inished with a percentage of 92.9. The liorse Is owned by AV. R. Brown of Berlin, X. H. Kingfisher, an Arab bay gelding of eight years, ridden by Col. Frank Tompkins, was second with a percentage of 80.8, and Kheyera. another eiglit-yenr-old Arab, was third with 72.4. Judging was on the basis of 25 nor cent each for speed and feed consumption and 50 per cent for condition. Prizes were ,000, 00 and 50 respectively for first, second and third.
