FAIR PLAY WAS PRICED AT 00,000 An eastern paper says that Algernon Dainger-ffield is authority for the statement that during the Saratoga meeting August Belmont priced Fair Play, sire of Man o War and Mad Hatter, to Samuel Kosty of Washington at 00,000. This explains the Tecenf rumor that Major Belmont was offered the above-mentioned sunt for his now famous stallion.
