FIHST PULLET raced in closest pursuit all the way, but wns tiring at the end. SOSIUS- fell back while well up, then closed a gap in the stretch after saving ground on the last turn. ARTHUR MIDDLETON finished well. CONVERSE tired in the stretch. BUSY JOE was always far back. PEGGY C. was well up from the start, but began tiring in the stretch and just lasted for second place. VERDI LOON came with a great rush in the stretch and would have been second in a few strides more.- CENTERVILLE closed a big gap. SWEET LIBERTY retired after going a quarter in the lead and was easing up in the stretch. FRIVOLITY was always far back.
