CALIFORNIA BREEDERS TO MEET DEC. 4 SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., November 24. Horsemen representing the California Breeders Association from the southern part of the state and members of the Golden Gate Breeders Association of this city will meet at the Palace Hotel Thursday, December 4, to consider ways and means for improving breeding of thoroughbreds on the Pacific coast and to provide for racing. Twenty-two brood mares will be shipped from the Elmwood Stock Farm of A. K. Macomber at Mil-pitas tomorrow to New York and thence to the French farm of Macomber, near Paris. Twelve yearlings from the Edward Celrian stables at San Jose are to be shipped to New Orleans one day this week. They will be raced as two-year-olds after the first of the year.
