Since the election of Matthew Ccrhctt to the presidency of the Metropolitan Jockey Club, which conducts racing at Jamaica, the offices of that organization -have been changed. After Decemlier 15 all communications must be addressed to Terminal Building, 50 Court street, Brooklyn, N. Y. According to judge Frank J. Bryan steeplechase horses are in great demand. Quite a number of owners have increased their stables of late, which given promise of better sport in this line than in years past. Jack Keene. who has been visiting in tills city for the past week or two, will return to Kentucky in a few days. He will race an extensive stable next year. Sandy McNaughtou and his contract jockey, C. Kit miner, left for Hot Springs tonight, where they will siKiul the winter. Kiunmcr will not ride until next spring.
