KENTUCKY CLAIMING RULE POPULAR NEW ORLEANS, La., November 24. The decision of the two racing associations here to again adopt the Kentucky claiming rule met with much favor among the horsemen, as that rule seems to work better than those in use in other sections of the country. It was used here last year with entire isatisfuctiou, and considerable claiming was done sit that. In this rule an owner is prevented from claiming his own horse, and the reselling and trad-5ng of claimed horses back to their original owners or their close connections is barred. Ond section of the rule provides that no horses claimed shall be sold or transferred to anyone within sixty days of the date it was claimed, except in another claiming or selling race, nor shall such horse remain in the same stable or under the care or jnauageoieut of its former owner or trainer.
