HORSES FOR FALL ENDURANCE TEST Thrco Already Selected to Represent Kentucky in the Thrco Hundred Mile Race LEXINGTON Ky July 14 The Kentucky State Racing Commission the Thoroughbred Horse Association and the Kentucky Jockey Club in all probability will pool the expense of training their representatives for the JOOmile endurance test from Fort Etlfan Allen Vt to Camp Devcns Mass October 11 to October 15 15Thus Thus far three horses have been purchased and have arrived here to be trained by William Wood ard David Craig is the Kentucky Jockey Clubs representative Mosiowa is to represent the Thor ¬ oughbred Horse Association and t Twentythree a fiveyearold son of Ivan the Terrible Colloquy was purchased for the Kentucky State ISacing Com ¬ mission missionThe The purchases were made by T C McDowell a member of the State ISacing Commission a di ¬ rector in the Thoroughbred Horse Association and a stockholder in the Kentucky Jockey Club who today said We probably will have adozen horses in training within a shuri while It is my hope that all of tho B who are interested in seeing a thoroughbred win this test will form a pool to cover the ccst of the horses and their training I think there should be at least six thoroughbreds to contest and as many more as can be obtained obtainedJohn John E Madden has said he will contribute 2500 to a fund to cover the expense of acquiring training and starting thoroughbred horses in this test if two others will contribute a like amount E IS Bradley has said he will contribute as much as any other man
