JOCKEY KUMMERS MIRACULOUS ESCAPE ESCAPEJockey Jockey C Kummer who has Vidden Man o War in all his races this year miraculously escaped death when his mount Costly Colours stepped on the heels of Oriole and fell during the running of the sixth race at Aqueduct Monday Kummer was thrown heavily hut luckily was not tramped upon by the horses in the rear He wastaken to St Marys Hospital in Jamaica where it was found that lie had sustained a fractured shoulder and other minor injuries His condition was pjvjnyunced serious but not alarming Costly Colours broke her back in the fall and was destroyed Flying Claud which stumbled over the prostrate filly pulled up lame
