VENERABLE IRISH RIDER A WINNER The Irish Grand National Steeplechase which was run at Fairyliouse Dublin in April and won by Halston an aged gelding by Bealdcrg was remarkable for the fact that two of the riders were the veteran Mr H Heasley and his son Mr W Heasley Neither was on a place getter but later in the day the former won the Kings Cup three miles on Clonhugh Mr Heasley came in for a great reception and for a man of R8 years 1s certainly a marvel At that age most men look for something softer than steeple ¬ chase riding
