RECORD PRICE FOR A YEARLING Colt by The Totrarch Blue Tit Brings 2,500 at the Doncaster, England, Sales of Yearlings. LONDON, England, September 10. On the third day of the yearling sales at Doncaster the Sledmere band of thirteen were sold for enormous prices, averaging 1,020. The highest prices were: Colt, by The Tetrarch Blue Tit, by AAlld- fowler; Lord Glanely 2,500 Colt, by The Tetrarch Honora, by Gallinule; Sir J. AAliite 4S.00O Filly, by Sunstar Rock Garden, by AAolfs Crag; Mr. Botterill 15,000 Colt, by Corcyra Seadune, by Ayrshire; Lord Glanely 12,500 Filly, by Son-in-Law Josephine, by Suu- dridge; J. AAatson 15,000 Filly, by Charles OMalley Allasii, by Si- montault; Mr. Preston 3S.O0O Filly, by Charles OMalley Stolen Kiss, by Best Man; Lord Lascelles 34,000 The price for the Blue Tit colt, 2,500, Is the record for a yearling. The colt is a brother to the 7,500 AAestward Ho, which was bought at the Doncaster sales of 1919 by Lord Glanely. Westward Ho has not yet raced. He was too big to train to advantage, but is a smashing individual. Both are half brothers to the tine Irish tllly Blue Dun, which is by Corcyra. AVestward Ho is by Swynford.
