Won easily; second and third driving. IDLE DELL quickly took an easy lead, set a fast pace and was never menaced. DOUGH GIRL raced in nearest pursuit all the way and held on gamely at the end. LIGHT ROSE closed up steadily and easily passed PLAYCANY in the stretch. The latter tired in the last eighth. PRINCE HAL II. attempted to run out at the final fence and finished, but sulked through the last eighth. INFIDEL II. lost his rider at the eighth jump. PICKWICK, after being under restraint in the early running, moved up steadily to the last eighth, where he tired. CIRRUS followed the leaders in the early running, closed up rapidly when called on and easily " disposed of AUDACIOUS in the last eighth and, taking the lead, was under mild restraint at the finish. AUDACIOUS followed the early leader closely from the start and, saving the most ground when entering the stretch, took the lead, but could not withstand the winners challenge. BEST PAL rushed into the lead and set a fast pace, but ran out on the last turn, losing much ground, then was eased up when beaten in the last sixteenth. Scratched 197292Lunctta, 100. YUNG CHING moved up gamely when entering the stretch, and was forced wide by PONTYPRIDD and thrown off his stride, but finished gamely and was gaining rapidly in the closing strides. The latter set the pace and raced VICTOR S. into defeat, but was tiring in the closing strides. VICTOR S. raced .well, but tired in the last eighth.
