Wpn driving; second and third the same. DORA gained steadily from a slow beginning and, finishing fast and gamely, got up to win in the final strides. WRAITH was much used in racing with ROSA ATKIN and OAKLING the first half and, after taking the lead, tired right at the end. OAKLING w;as a forward contender all the way and made a game finish. Won driving; second and third the same. THE DECISION, favored by the going, set the pace from the start, but had to be shaken up at the sixteenth post when RESIST challenged. The latter raced close up to the stretch turn and, moving up rapidly in the stretch, was gaining at the end. LILLIAN G. raced forwardly, but tired. WOODBINE began well, but was far back in the early running and tired after closing a gap and making a threatening challenge at the sixteenth post. CORN BROOM: raced gamely, butfound the route a bit too far. GALLEY HEAD dropped back right at the start and ran a bad race. Scratched 498-13 Red Post, 98. The latter finished fast and was wearing the winner down. PRUNES raced forwardly, but tired at the end. WOODTHRUSH dropiwd out of contention in the early running and ran far below his true form.
