BROWN PRINCE COMING TO AMERICA It is understood that Brown Prince, a six-year-old son of Dark Ronald and Excellenza, by Haut Brion, has been purchased in England by Headley and Miller of Kentucky and N w York. Brown Prince is brother to Constancys sire. Ambassador, and by the Royal Hunt Cup winuer. Dark Ronald, from Excellenza by Haut Brion, son of St. Simon, and is a member of the Merope Galopin branch of the No. 3 family. Brown Prince is an exceptionally handsome, well set up horse, and a really good race horse besides, which as a three-year-old won such important races as the Cambridgeshire and Jockey Club Cup. Hampton blood, on account of the sire success of the dead Bayardo, is now particularly- in demand abroad, and as this country is but sparsely supplied with this strain, the coming of Brown Trince is in every way desirable.
