THOROUGHBRED ASSOCIATION MEETS LEXINGTON. Ky September 23. The Thoroughbred Horse Association at the semi-annual meeting of its members here tonight went on record as I being opposed to racing at New Orleans during Lent. President Hal Price Headley was authorized to appoint committees to confer with representatives of the racing associations at New Orleans Fair , Grounds and Jefferson Park, Havana and Tijuana relative to purses and stakes and rules for winter racing and submit same to the groups of horsemen who will race at the respective tracks for their approval or rejection. It was also voted that each group will appoint a committee of their members who shall hear all complaints, suggestions and recommendations from horsemen or the associations and submit same to the directors of the Thoroughbred Horse Associa- tion.
