FEATURE TO WOODTHRUSH Son of Olambala Makes Good in Mile Handicap Bulcroft Rides Two Winners. MONTREAL, Que., September 3. After racing last for a time, C. Mortons WOCK"Iirusll. 11 son f Olambala LAlouette, closed up with a rush and accounted for the Vaudreil Handicap at one mile, which was offered as the feature of todays racing. The winner was ridden by Bulcroft and was neglected by the talent in the wagering. Vive Mc-Gee was the one to be backed, while American Eagle was third. Sedan was the only other starter. Jockey Bulcroft scored a double during the afternoon, winning the third race in a hard drive with Lady Betty. Mackeluaine bled during the running of the first race. Weather- conditions were again Ideal and a large crowd journeyed to the track. The going was at its best and well backed horses accounted for the majority of the dashes. B. E. Graham has decided to ship from here to Kenilworth, thence to Cuba. Graham has seven head turned out on his farm in Indiana and following the close at Kenilworth will pick them up for winter racing. Jockey C. Howard will accompany the Graham stable from here to Windsor. Among the stables which shipped to" the Woodbine last evening were those of C. I. Wilson, A. Bnllcroft and J. F. Smith. Flibbertygibbet, Charley Boy, Fair Lassie and others were in the shipment for C. I. Wilson. J. S. Whatleys Snow Queen came out of her race yesterday in a bad way. The mare bowed and. will be on the shelf for some time. D. Kearney,- who has been training for D. Raymond, a Montreal patron, will open a public stable in Cuba next winter. Mr. Kearney hail some success last winter and will take some Canadian performers to the island. W. L. Oliver has taken over the two-year-old BJameyBpy. for,.P.,Gormanv , , , . " , TThii" stables of X. K. Moody and A. L. Tempest will be shipped from here to Empire City to participate in the racing at that point. Jockeys Marianalli and Tryon will accompany the shipment. Mortimer Mahoney leaves for Toronto to assume charge of the mutuels for a few days and thence to Laurel for the opening there.
