CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The Jefferson Livingston yearlings, which, together with all the Livingston horses in training, will be sold at Jamaica October 2. have been at Gravesend since last July and all are broken. They are said to be an exceptionally promising band of youngsters. Charles F. Grainger, local manager of Churchill Downs plant of the Kentucky Jockey Club, who has Jjeen at Babylon, L. I., since early summer, returned to Kentucky Monday. Mr. Grainger is much Improved in health and takes a great interest in turf matters. He predicts banner fall meetings for Latoulu aud Churchill Downs.
