THE REASON FOR HIGH-PRICED COLTS -f t The great price of 2,500 paid by Lord Glanely at Doncaster for the yearling by The TetrarcJi Blue Tit, brother to Westward Ho 7,500 In 1919, and Blue Dun, the best three-year-old filly of .the .year in Ireland, :is said to point to Westward Hos quality. Lord Glanely bought this colt as. a yearling also. Westward Ho has not been to the races so far, and is not likely to start until next year. He is said to have been brilliantly tried, and is in all the 1921 classics. The 2,500 yearling is a better individual than Westward Ho and IUiie Dun and, as English racing values -for high-class youngsters now run, is accounted well bought. Some twelve owners were in competition for the colt at the sale.
