SWEEPING GLANCE began slowly, but saved much ground on the turns, and, responding "gamely to good riding, overhauled CURRENCY in the last seventy yards and won going away. CURRENCY showed the most early speed, but began tiring in the last eighth. LANCELOT was under hard restraint in the early running and was brought wide in the stretch, possibly costing him the face. MILITARY GIRL tired in the stretch. EDDIE TRANTER showed brief speed. Scratched 50815 Count Boris, 105; 51004 High Gear, 110. GOLDEN QUINCE showed, the most speed to the last eighth, but tired near, the end. PUZZLE ran well and had no mishaps. LOUISE WYNNE closed a gap in the stretch.
