Madden, before his departure for New York today said: "It is my detenu nation to cut down the number of mares at Hamburg Place to approximately thirty and race the horses I breed from them." "fhe stallions now at Hamburg Place are Sir Martin, Orraoudale, The Finn, Ogden. Spanish Prince II. and Hessian. The latter is to be sold, and Mr. Madden says he has an agreement with John H. Rosscter whereby Friar Bock is to come back to Kentucky for two .years. Mr. Madden says he and Mr. Rosseter own Friar Rock in partnership.
