PLURIBUS WORKS AT NEW ORLEANS NEW OHLEANS La April 7 Over a track that was at least a second slow T W OBriens Ken ¬ tucky Derby colt Pluribus with 130 pounds up this morning worked a mile and an eighth in 155 at the Fair Grounds It was Pluribns last work over the local course as ho will be shipped to Ken ¬ tucky Saturday night and will receive his final preparation there thereTrainer Trainer T J Shannon lias been slowly and care ¬ fully preparing Pluribus throughout the winter lay ¬ ing the foundation for trailing which he has hopes will bring the colt up to the form necessary for him to possess if he is to contend with the formidable array of threeyearolds scheduled to face the bar ¬ rier in this years Deiby DeibyPluribus Pluribus has trained well has filled out grandly and is today an impressive looking individual He is of a rich chestnut brown with a magnificent coat and while he is not a colt which likes work lie ran the mile and an eighth this morning without the encouragement of a whip and was pulling up at the mile and a quarter in 210
