PLURIBUS TO BE SENT TO JAMAICA LEXINGTON Ky May S Rush McCoy repre ¬ sentative of and trainer for S II Velie of Kansas City will leave at the end of next week for Mont ¬ real with Fair Florin and May Flower McCoy has sold the elevenyearold mare Starberta by Star Shoot Lady Alberta and her yearling chest ¬ nut filly by Short Grass to Frank J Kelley of Chicago who will breed her to his stallion Paieines at John S Wiggins Military stock farm Velies mare Lady Teressa has a bay colt by Delhi and will be bred to Mint MintCharles Charles T AVorthington is making preparations to ship a carload of horses including the twoyearold Pepper Tea to Toronto TorontoS S T Baxter is going to Montreal with Sleepy Dear and two or three others othersTrainer Trainer Tom Shannon shipped Pluribus and two others of the Thomas AV OBrien horses from here to Jamaica JamaicaIn In the same car will go Grandson and Queens two twoyearold sons of Stalwart The former is a son of Naughty Marietta and the latter of Queen of the Hills bred and owned by It S McCarter Potter and broken and trained here by T L Pierce The sixth thoroughbred in the shipment will be AA A Sheas Snapdragon II which Dave AMtitoe has been handling here The car will be in charge of John Miller who also is taking a number of paddle liorses to be disposed of at lurU nds
