July .-.Taking the lead at the start Thomas Hodges Betty J. never left the result in serious doubt during the running of the Ii Prcsse Purse, the fourth and feature attraction at Delorimier Park this afternoon. At the end the Celt filly scored by two lengths from Chefa. which made a resolute stretch finish to heat Duke Huff for second place. The latter was most fancied, but was unable to keep up with the winner at any stage mid he tired when the final test came. Bacchamiliial scored her fourtli consecutive victory and her second at this meeting when she captured the third race after a mild stretch duel with Lura and Sleepy Dear. The latter quit badly near the end and pulled up quite lame. Examination disclosed the fact that the Contestor filly had broken a bone in one of her forelegs, hut can le saved for breeding purposes. Closing fast in the stretch Old Pop outgamed Galway to captjire the race for Canadian-bred horses. Incidentally lie returned the largest dividend of the meeting. Lady Betty pulled up lame after this nice,
