GEORGE STARR began fast and. showing the most speed to the stretch, finished gamelyand had no mishaps. DR. CARMEN was interfered with after the start and had to work his way through, but finished fast and gaining. GREEN GRASS ran well. TWINKLE BLUE showed speed throughout. SADDLE RING began slowly and lost much ground on the last two turns by running out. THE COLONELS LADY began well and raced in closest pursuit until, in the last eighth, where she passed BRIGHT LEAF and held SALAMANDER safe through the last sixteenth. SALAMANDER moved up steadily after saving much ground ou the last turn, and wis going, fast at the end. FIELD LAHIC had a rough race arid finished with a rush when clear.
