CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The recent death has occurred at the Varaviile Stud, in France, from hemorrhage, of the stallion King Priam. Bred by Mr. Russell Swauwick, anil foaled in 1911, King Priam was a good-looking bay sou of the St. Leger victor Your Majesty from Tiberia by Bend Or. He was sold and went to France in the spring of last year. Be-echo, an upstanding brown colt greatly resembling his sire, Neil Dow, is attracting much attention in England. At Epsom he won the historic Woodcote Stake. The fact that he is a member of the despised number forty-two family, did not prevent Mr. Gilpin from giving .3,000 for Ite-echo at the Doncaster sales last year. His dam is Corrie Rae, by Cyllent Lady Itaeburn, which has produced the wiuuers of about forty ruces,
