i THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS It is less than three months since jockey Earl Sande got in the racing action of 1921. Some thirty odd riders had a substantial lead on him. He has passed them all but two and if he continues his marvelous work during the Saratoga meeting will be at the top, where he rightly belongs. He has ridden sixty-nine winners, and only B. Marinelli and E. Taylor. Winter stars at Tijuana, are between him and first place. Last week Sande added ten winneri to ids rapidly increasing total. His percentage is .38, far higher than all the others, L, Fator and D. Prible also did well last week, each with seven winners to his credit.
