AVon driving; second and third the same, MOMENTUM, close up from the start, passed FORESTALL when rounding the far turn and gamely outstayed PEACE PAL at the end. The latter moved up rapidly when entering, the stretch and was slowly wearing the winner down at the end. FORESTALL set a fast early pace, but tired. ZACK TERRELL closed a gap and finished fast. TUANOREA moved up when entering the stretch and finished fast and gaining. NONSKID showed the most earlv speed and raced gamely on the inside all through the final quarter. KING THRUSH raced in closest pursuit all the way and moved up menacingly on the last turn, but tired finally. BESTHOFF ran a good race and finished fast. AVINNECONNE raced RUBY into defeat, but could not withstand the winners challenge. GRACE met with interference on the first turn and ran a good race. DR. RAB finished fast. LOTHAIR was knocked: back while going to the first turn, and afterward closed a big gap. but also was tiring in the final strides ROISTERER showed the most early speed, but gave way near the end.
