DUNCECAP, away forwardly, was outrun for the tirst quarter, but gradually improved her position and. coming fast through the stretch, outstayed BANTRY PASS in a game linish. BANTRY PASS rushed into the lead and raced SAILING ALONG into defeat, but was tiring at the end. SAILING ALONG raced into the lead, but seemed to tire after going a half mile. UNAR fenced "well in the early running and showed the most, speed, but tired in the final drive. AMSTELLO retired after going well for a mile. SUBAHDAR had no mishaps. VALOR set a fast pace to the last eighth, but could not withstand the winners rush. LOVE TAP raced in closest pursuit of the leader in the early running, but tired in the stretch drive. SERVITOR was alwavs outpaced. SECOND THOUGHTS worked her May up on the outside of the leaders and. finishing gamely, outstayed NANCY SHANKS. The latter began slowly, hut saved ground on the turns and tinished fast and gamely. MY REVERIE was away forwardly and in nearest pursuit in the early running, hut tired in the last eighth. SIIERANDO was eased up when beaten. ULTIMATA retired in the last quarter. The latter, away forwardly, raced PICKWICK into defeat and took the lead, but tired under his impost when called on for a final effort. VETERAN, forced wide when entering the stretch, tired after getting to the leaders in the last sixtenlh. PICKWICK set a good early pace, but quit in the last eighth. XOHAXT and JOAX MARIE ran poorly.
