FOREIGN TURF ENTERPRISE Distribution of English Thoroughbred Blood Shown in Recent French Registration. PAULS. France, August 1. The blood of the French, Spanish and Indian thoroughbred is being steadily enriched by the importation of brood mures of excellent lineage from England and Ireland. At a meeting of the Stud Kook Commission, held in Paris recently, under the presidency of M. de Pardicu. director general of thoroughbred studs in France, one stallion and twenty-six marcs were, by order of the French minister of agriculture, registered in the French Stud Kook. The stallion Tangaroa was born in Australia in 1901. lie is a bay or brown son of Grafton Waihine. by Trenton. He has been in England since 1013 and was purchased recently by M. Gnlstaun of India. The brood mares include: Kairain, bay. 1005, by Masque. Kindweed, by Common, foaled in France, exported lo England in 15113 and now returned to the stud of M. Calmann. She is bred to Hnpshurg.
