NOTED ENGLISH TURFMAN PASSES ON LONDON, England. August 1:2. The English turf has sustained a distinct loss by the death hen; Saturday of Mr. J. S. Morrison. The deceased, who was lvjrn in 1M9, was an ardent patron of the turf and the familiar green, white crescents and stars were frequently first past the winning post. Among the horses owned by Mr. Morrison was Dnimcree, b. g, by Ascetic Witching Hour, which won the Liverpool .Grand National in 1903; Dibs, br. c. by Blairfindc-Greek Girl, winner of the Great Ebor Handicap in 1009: Grovr. b. f, by Symington Wautage Belle; Greek, b. g, by Apollo Monday, and the great jumper John M. P. His most recent sueeess was on August Hi at Windsor when Desire, b. g, 3, by Grave Greek- Lalisa, won tho "Windsor Summer Uiimlicap,
