In race 50372 at Windsor August 17, the colt Minute Man was duly entered, but owing to an error of the track official in charge of the matter his name was not included in the entry list sent out from the track. This error did not do away with the fact that he was entered and won. People away from the track who wager at the track odds do so subject to what may happen at the track and can only win in accordance with the official plac-ings. Of course, in cases where wagers were made at a price laid and accepted at the time Minute Man would cut no more figure than if he had not been entered.
