Won easily; second and third driving. YOWELL began slowly, but worked his way tip on the outside and, coming fast through the stretch, raced into the lead and won going away. CROWN OF GOLD raced forwardly and outstayed FUSE in a game finish. The latter was much used in racing with LANDLESS and tired, but held on gamely. CHEFA was saved behind EDITH K. to the far turn and. taking the lead when the latter tired, drew away, but had to be ridden out at the end to outstay HARRY M. STEVENS. The latter Was well ridden and finished gamely. BOURBON GREEN, shuffled back at the half-mile post, closed up again and was running fastest of all at the finish. COKO-NADO fenced well and all but unseated his rider at the sixth fence, then showed much speed; but could not withstand the winner. BARONET moved up well when going to the tenth fence, then quit. KINGS CHAMPION showed one hurst of speed, then quit and is unreliable. BRILLIANT JESTER was much knocked about while going to tin- first turn and would not extend himself afterward.
