. , [ j " , TWO FINE PIMLICO STAKES Sporting Conditioned Spring and Autumn Two-Year-OId Fixtures. The Maryland Jo-key CTafe, erfearh enecatee the Fimlico track, will add a pair of originally conditioned two-year-old stake events lo its already impressive li-t during the coining season. The first of Ifecac, to be known as the Spring lloine-ljred Stake will be open to two-year-olds bred by their earners and will be run at the -piing lectin:.-. There will be no fee for entering or st.-iting. The distance will be four and a half furlongs and the club will add ,500 and a piece of plate for the winner. Kntries are to be made on the day preceding the race. The autumn meeting wiil have a similar feature under like conditions, to be known as the Autumn Home Bred Stakes. The only change will be in the distance, which will be increased to three- quarters mile. In 1! 2-". it is planned to continue these two-year- old races under similar conditions. The spring three-yea 1 -old race will be run at tliree-qua iters and the autumn event at one mile. From leas ambitious plans grew the great present Fieakness and future racing glory may come from the new fixtures. a —
