Tie Hungarian trainer Puztabereny is en-Joying a highly successful season, horses from his stable having already won ten races, worth more than 0,000, this year. N. E. Ambatielos, the Greek owner who races a large stable in France, lias been negotiating with Jockey G. Bellhouse to do the Stables riding, but no contract has been signed as yet. Trainer Eugene Leigh claimed Vala, five-year-old bay horse, by Predicateur — Vaya, for ,020 at St. Cloud April 13. Vala won the Prix du Coeur Volant for Jean Lieux before he was awarded to Leigh.
