PROMISE FOR EPSOM DERBY English Classic Still Has 291 Eiigible Colts and Fillies. i Many Geldings Out — Bunting, St. Henry, Mercutio and Princess Palatine Still in List. ♦ i The Epsom Derby, which is two months away, still has 291 technical eligibles. Rome forty of these are geldings, among them three Americans of the U P. Whitney entry, now known in the United States as Hullabaloo, entered as the Folderol colt; Pantheon, entered as the Florence colt, and Olympus as the Paradise II. colt. All three are in the live entry li.=t of 291 candidates. There were originally G66 entries. The Derby is run at Epsom Downs Wednesday, May CI, and will be worth 2,500. The conditions of the Derby are: Derby Stakes, 2,500 ; 50 each. 5 if declared March 9, 1920. Entire colts and fillies. Colts, 126 pounds; tidies, 121 pounds. Derby course. One mile 90 yards. From the training reports and the racing of the past season th following are the best of the eligibles for the Derby.
