GOV PARKERS ATTITUDE NEW ORLEANS La May 18 Governor Parker will have no bill for the abolition of racing at the present session of the legisla ¬ ture it was announced at Baton Rouge to ¬ day Vigorous denial of statements attrib ¬ uted to the governor that he would advocate driving racing from the state was made madeI I will have no bill for the abolition of racing nor for anything else said the governor Nor will I send a message to the legislature on the subject subjectInformal Informal discussion of the Claiborne rac ¬ ing commission bill by the ways and means committee of the state legislature held today disclosed a friendly sentiment in the commit ¬ tee With amendments exempting parish fairs from the provision and raising the rev ¬ enue features to moro than 15 per cent of the gross receipts the committee appeared friendly to tho bill although no action was taken
