WOODBINE PARKS BEST MEETING The Canadian racing season of 1922 made an auspicious beginning with tho wonderfully attractive and successful spring meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club held at Woodbine Park from May 20 to May 27 Featured by the sixtysecond running or the Kings Plate the oldest race run continuously on this continent the highclass racing provided by Can ¬ adas oldest racing organization attracted crowds of tremendous proportions the attendance on three of the seven days exceeding the 30000 mark A total of J122790 was distributed In stokes and purses the daily average distribution amounting to J17541 It was indeed a banner meeting in every respect The horses of J K L Ross won the larg ¬ est number of races and the most money during the seven days of racing with the
