r -N Whiskaways Impressive Gallop J NEW YORK, N. Y.. June 21.- Before being shipped to Eatonia for the S30.000 Kentucky Special. James Rov.e worked the Whitney hopes, Whiskaway and Olympus, a mile and a quarter at Aqueduct this morning. Whiskaways time was 2:08%, and Olympus 2:09~-,. They galloped together for thre-quarters of a mile, then Whiskaway ! drew away and finished four lengths ahead of his stablemate. The fractional time of Whiskaways workout was as fellows: Quarter in 24, half in 48-. three quarters in 1:13%, mile in 1:40".-, and the mile and a quarter in 2:08z5. It was a spl.mdid bit of work and impressed all who witnessed it. James Rows has not decided yet to start both horses in the big rare Saturday. Penman will ride Whiskaway and if Olympus goes to the post L. Morris will have the mount on him. The latter will remain here in readiness to make the trip West in the eent that Howe decides to start Olympus. Prudish was another of the Whitney hor?es sent West. She will remain in Kentucky to fulfill her engagement in the Latonia Oaks.
