BENGALI set a good pace under restraint for five-eighths, but tired when GALLANT GROOM challenged and passed him. SHORE ACRES ran weU and was gaining at the end. ANTIPHON quit. HOT COAL set a good pace from the start and drew away at the head of the homestretch, but tired badly in the last twenty yards. TEDS PLUM was a forward contender all the way and outgamcd RAOICKT in the final drive. The latter ran well nud fiuished on the inside where the going was heaviest. H. LUCKY B. beat the others away from the gate and set a fast pace, but tired badly right at the end. OLD SINNER was a close-up contender all the way. COLANDO ran well to the last eighth. ELEANOR S. was on the outside for the entire race, but ran a good race and outstayed MAINMAST. The latter, while under slight restraint, set and forced a fast pace to the stretch turn, where he moved up and took the lead again, but tired in the last tixtecnth. NIGHT RAIDER ran a good race. PIT ran well, but tired after rushing to the front at the head of the stretch. LAZY I.OU was used too much in racing ROUEN and BEAVERKILL into defeat and tired, but finished gamely.
