FRENCH CANADIAN set the pace from the start and drew away . when well into the stretch, but had to be ridden hard near the end to retain his advantage. ROYAL MAID finished fast nnd gamely on the inside. JUDGE HANECY raced on the outside of Uie winner and appeared to have speed left at the finish. The others were always outpaced. WINDING THROUGH set a fast pace and raced RATTY H. into defeat, but tired in the final drive. NAN McKINNEY ran well and outstayed RATTY II. WHITE SOCKS was away slowly, but gained steadily through the last quarter and Qnsihed well. BRIS-TOW worked his way up on the insid? through the stretch and outgamed SAN PABLO. BLOSSOM HOUSE began slowly and closed up considerable ground. JUSTINA E. displayed much speed until midway of the stretch, then tired. SELOTA ran a bad race.
