POLSONS BROTHER TO POGO SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., August 10. Sentiment prompted W. F. Poison, Buffilo turfman, to purchase a chestnut colt by Glcncairn Caraquet, offered by Joseph Ma,:-rone at the auction sales Monday night. Hj has a brother of this youngster in his barn now, Togo, which is as gocd locking a two-year-old as one would ?care to gaze upon. But thus far he has been prevented from racing because of a knee ailment which developed early in the spring. It was the opinion of; many horsemen last March that Pogo would turn out to be the best of his age in Kentucky and he was training splendidly when he went amiss. II s owner is of the opinion that he will be able to get him to the races in the autumn. The Poison horses are now at fort Erie and Rainbow Boy, which he claimed Monday, and his new yearling purchase were shipped there today to join them.
