OALIFORNIAN AMONG BUYERS SARATOGA, N. Y., August 10. It has been remarked that Edward R. Bradley has been a liberal buyer of the yearlings that have been sold by the Fasig-Tipton Company, but it develops that Mr. Bradley has been executing a commission for John Marchbanks, a wealthy sportsman of San Francisco. Mr. Marchbanks is closely identified with the scheme to bring racing back to California and will participate in the sport himself. He also intends to establish a breeding farm in California. The horses will be trained by Jack Clifford, who trained for both "Lucky" Baldwin and Burns and Waterhouse.
