jockey ruled off the turf LEXINGTON, Ky., August 10. Jockey S. Wolstenholm has been ruled off the turf by Judge John S. Wallace and his associates in the stand at the Colored Fair. Wolstenholm went into the stand Tuesday afternoon and became abusive to Judge Wallace for no gqod reason, apparently, and upon being told by Assistant Chief of Police Ernest Thompson, who happened to be chatting with Judge Wallace when the rider came up, to use other language, he turned upon the official and expressed his Opinion of him in such manner as to cause Thompson to knock him down the steps into the arms of another officer, who sent him to the lockup. Yesterday morning he paid a police court fine of 0 and costs.
